I’m calling to discuss protecting science and American innovation and how it impacts our community.

This year, the Trump administration has already frozen and cancelled billions in already appropriated federal grants from the National Science Foundation, NIH, NASA, and other federal agencies that fund science, medical, and innovation research. 

Research and science save lives and fuel new discoveries. Now there are reports that the administration is going to send a $30 billion dollar rescissions bill to Congress to cancel money already appropriated for research and education at NSF and other agencies, which would be devastating. 

We need your support in telling the administration not to send a second rescissions package that tries to cancel science and medical funding and rejecting White House attempts to unilaterally enforce an additional rescission proposal.

I hope you will also oppose the massive cuts to NSF, NIH, and NASA that the president’s budget has proposed, which would destroy science and innovation research in this country forever.
